Pastor Steve and Jeanette joined New Beginnings in August of 2018. He brings with him over 25 years of pastoral experience. His passion for prayer and the leading of the Spirit helps him fulfill the call of shepherding the people God has put on his life. In 2018 he finished seminary with a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies at Liberty University and hopes to work toward his doctorate in the coming years.

The Liebsack family was established in November of 2005, and was increased by one ten years later with an introduction of Eli, their only child. They enjoy spending time outdoors, but also enjoy couch time with a good movie or book. The only thing more important than the love of their family is their love for Jesus!

Pastor Steve works hard at rightly dividing the Word of God and sharing it in a way that is easy to understand and apply to the life of those who will listen. Although Pastor Steve has seen God do some amazing things in his life and the ministries he has been involved in, he believes the best is yet to come as he allows God to continue to guide him as our lead pastor.

Krystal Crowley grew up attending New Beginnings Church, participating in children’s and youth services. It was during an Assembly of God youth conference when she was 16 that God first called her into youth ministry. Krystal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business – Marketing Management from Bellevue University. After completing her ministerial studies through Global University, she received her Pastoral Certificate from the Assemblies of God. She is currently in pursuit of her Pastoral License.

 
Steven and Krystal were married in 2012 and have since welcomed three children; Khloe, Kynli, and Knoxx. They enjoy taking family vacations, especially trips to visit family. But most of their memories are made spending time together at home, watching movies or playing outside. Krystal and Steven believe that the greatest gift you could ever give your children is teaching them to know and love Jesus.
 
Krystal leads Passion Youth with her husband as her co-leader and greatest support. They have a passion for seeing students give and live their lives for Christ. Steven and Krystal desire God to use them in anyway to reach and minister to these students as they are the next generation of the Church. Krystal and Steven jump right in with her students as they play hard and pray even harder in Passion Youth.

Marcia Gilbert Barnett returned to her home church, New Beginnings in December of 2018. God’s call on her life and her desire to be used by him has led her into many facets of ministry.  Upon the completion of her ministerial studies through "Global University" in 1994, the Assemblies of God ordained Marcia.   

God blessed Marcia and her late husband Ozzie with four children, 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren!  Marcia would tell you that God has "blessed her abundantly and exceedingly above all she could ever ask or think”!  Marcia considers it one of her greatest blessings to be able to minister in the church where her father, A. R. Sorenson, pastored for 28 years.  The greatest desire of her life is to faithfully serve her Lord and savior Jesus Christ. 

Stephen Langley grew up in Shenandoah Iowa and has a Ministerial degree in Worship Leading from Ozark Christian College.


Stephen came to New Beginnings after returning to his hometown from a brief time in Indianapolis before taking over as Children's Pastor in Spring of 2023. In his spare time, Stephen enjoys a vast myriad of hobbies including bee keeping, fur trapping, and spending time with his 2 dogs Roxanne and Vixen.


Stephen has a strong passion for the Lord and to see kids give their lives to Christ . His goal is to show children how exciting and loving God can be and let them experience new friendships, growth, and the overwhelming love of God every week! He desires God to use him in anyway to minister to our next generation and lead them into both new and deeper walks with the Lord.
